Palm Sunday Worship Service – April 13th at 10:15am, WCPC Sanctuary

Maundy Thursday Worship Service – April 17th at 7pm, WCPC Sanctuary

Good Friday Prayer Vigil – Just as we have done in previous years, we will have a prayer vigil during the day and into the night on Good Friday, April 18th. People will have the opportunity to sign up for 1/2-hour time slots to pray, either on your own or as couples, inside the sanctuary. There will be materials (printed and visual) and a prayer sheet set up to help guide your prayer time. Lisa Breithaupt is once again helping to coordinate prayer participants; please contact to sign up for a prayer time slot (hours are 6:00am - midnight).

Either before, after, or even during your time with the Prayer Vigil, come experience a prayer walk. Starting in the Fellowship Hall, you will pick up a stone and carry it with you; stopping at several stations on the way to the Sanctuary and then back again to the Fellowship Hall. Each station will feature one of the Last Words of Christ and a prompt to consider as you walk. In the Sanctuary, you can leave your sins and hurts with Christ and finish the walk. At the end, you will be prompted to go back to the stones and pick up someone else’s stone so that you can pray for them during the following year. If you have any questions, please contact John Cathcart.

The annual food drive by the Faith Alliance churches begins this Sunday, aiming for our collection day on Sunday, March 16. This year WCPC will be splitting our donated food between Reach Out Lakota (ROL) and the WCPC Community Supper. Canned fruit and canned vegetables will go to the Supper for use by our teams. Other items will go to ROL. Pick up a donation bag this Sunday and return it on 3/16. The Youth Group is publicizing the drive and will weigh the collected donations after worship on 3/16. Last year we collected 708 pounds! Can we beat that this year? Thank you for your generosity and for helping those in need in our community.

The Hopewell Chapter of DAR will host a pinning ceremony to honor Vietnam veterans on Saturday, March 29, 2025. This marks the date in 1973 when the last troops left Vietnam. The event will be held at 10:00 AM at the West Chester Presbyterian Church. If you are a veteran of the Vietnam war and you have not yet participated in a pinning ceremony, please send an e-mail stating your interest in attending to info@thefaithalliance.com. If you do not e-mail, please leave a message on the answering machine at 513-816-7169.
