PLANNING A WEDDING
We receive many inquiries about weddings. In order to help you with your wedding plans, here is some information you may find helpful.
Members of West Chester Presbyterian Church
Call the church office (777-1705) or the pastor about your wedding plans.
Non-Members
We host up to six wedding a year for non-members provided that they are active in their home church. If you would like the West Chester Presbyterian Church to host your wedding, call the church (777-1705) and ask for a wedding application. We will contact you within a week after we have received it to let you know of our decision.
Officiants
People often want their own pastor to officiate. We encourage it.
Fees (non-members only)
These fees cover the organist, sound technician, wedding coordinator, utilities and cleaning service.

$100: refundable security deposit due when you are put on our calendar

$600: (less the security deposit) if you use the church organist

$450: (less the security deposit) if you do not use the church organist
The Wedding Coordinator
The West Chester Presbyterian Church has five wedding coordinators. One will be assigned to your wedding. She will be your primary contact with the church. She is available to answer any questions you may have. She will be with you at the rehearsal and the wedding. Typically she is at the planning of your wedding with you and the pastor. You will find her an invaluable help.
The Rehearsal
Plan for a one-hour rehearsal.
The Wedding
You will have access to the church two and a half hours before the ceremony begins. You will have one hour after the ceremony ends to complete your photography, remove all decorations and collect personal items from the church.
Music
We have an organ, grand piano, digital piano and the means to play CDs. If the pastor of the WCPC is officiating, he must approve all music.
Micellaneous
There are rooms to dress in at the church. We are air-conditioned Friday at 8:00 pm through Sunday evening.
