Special Announcement

The Interim Pastor Search Committee is excited to report that the Lord has provided once again for West Chester Presbyterian.  Rev. William Love has been called and accepted the offer to be the Interim Pastor for WCPC.  Rev. Love was ordained in 1976, and has over 20 years of experience as an interim pastor.  Rev. Love will be on staff on a full time basis starting November 10, fulfilling all pastoral duties for WCPC.  He will be working with Session and the congregation to determine how he can best guide and help in this time of transition.  On November 16 WCPC will officially welcome Rev. Love with a special Covenant Worship Service and the congregation will have the opportunity to welcome him at a reception immediately following the worship service.

Fall Activities:

The West Chester Presbyterian Church has been an active congregation since 1842.  We  have a long and vibrant history.  However, our history does not define us.  The present does, as does the presence of God in our midst
God is working through us in the following areas:

Mission: To serve others in the name of Jesus Christ, we offer a Monday evening community supper from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm which serves roughly 200 in-need people from West Chester.
Worship: Giving praise and honor and glory to God through our music ministry which runs the gamut from ancient to contemporary.  The sermons are rooted in the scriptures as we seek to find them in God leading us to experience His best.
Children: We have a Wednesday evening children's program for children ages 3 to 12.  The children participate in choir, learn a Bible lesson, and share a meal.
